Experience the Neve 88D
In 1980 Neve launched the world’s first large format digital console to rapturous applause. Twenty-five years later, Neve has again broken the mould with the revolutionary 88D. The 88D offers the legendary sound associated with analogue Neve consoles with the power, control, flexibility, and integration offered by modern digital consoles. Thanks to the unique strategic alliance between the SAE and Neve, you can experience the 88D first hand at the your regional SAE.
The powerful digital console combines a DSP engine providing 1000 tracks at 96kHz with classic Neve mic pre-amplifiers for perfect sound acquisition, dedicated 8.1 surround monitoring of multiple sources and the latest Encore Plus automation for efficient and creative mixing. Encore integrates Pro Tools and Nuendo via HUI and Pyramix via Oasis protocols, providing total control of the mix environment and efficient integration with the producer’s system of choice.
High PCM sampling rates, DXD mixing and 40 bit floating point processing provide the digital route to the ultimate in mix quality. Classic Neve EQ and Dynamics plug-ins ensure that 88D retains the true character of the legendary Neve Sound.
